October 12th, 2010 | Chris Blais Wins WORCS Race! | Chris Blais and Nick Blais Wins at Glen Helen UTV Race | It was a great day for Blais Racing Services! Owner Chris Blais and his brother, co-driver Nick Blais, would take the Overall UTV win in his HRT Motorsports, DragonFire Racing, Fox Shox, Fluidyne Powersports, FMF, TLD, Kenda, Mastercraft-sponsored Polaris RZR. "We got the holeshot off the line and held it for about half a lap until we made a slight mistake on the course direction which let the second place UTV by. We got behind him and followed him for a while until we got on the large Lucas Oil short course track section at the eastern end of the course. We made the pass for the lead and never looked back. We averaged about 10 seconds faster than any other machine out there and won by a couple of minutes. This is the first time my brother raced with me and we had a blast. Thanks for everyone's support that helped us go racing and to all my friends and family who came out to watch!" Blais is now in contention for the WORCS PRO UTV Class 1 Championship. The final round is in Mesquite, NV on Saturday October 16th.

| WORCS Glen Helen Onboard Camera Video Chris and Nick Blais Vikings MC Grand Prix Sept. 4th, Patty Blais race! On Saturday September 4th, the Vikings MC would hold their 6th Annual Grand Prix at Cahuilla Creek MX Park in Anza, Ca. It was a hot Labor Day weekend with temps into the 100's. The ATV race was delayed a bit and would start at 2:00pm in the afternoon. Patty states, "It was the hottest I ever got during a race. It wasn't just the heat but also the humidity with no wind."
Patty would get her best start ever, taking off from Row 1 with the other Open Experts. "It was a hand-on-helmet start, live engine, and I was third to the first turn out of about 10 or so guys. I was pretty pumped after that! It really helped having a practice race this morning. We (ATV's) don't usually get a practice race but the Vikings made some time for us and boy, what a difference." Along with many other racers during this 45-minute race, Patty was starting to feel a little dehydrated but motored through the dust and heat to finish in 6th Place! |

On Sunday September 26th, the Shamrocks MC would host their annual desert event, this time in Barstow, CA just behind the very well known Slash X Café. This weekend, the Shamrocks would hold four different races for all the classes on four different race courses, with a chance at earning four separate sets of race points. "I raced the "C" course on Sunday. It was so much fun! I prefer the faster courses over the more technical ones, especially on these 100-degree days. I got a good start down the bomb-run and was running 5th overall out of about 10 or 12 ATV's. I passed two guys in the first lap, which would put me in 3rd overall. During the race, another racer had to pull over for a flat tire which would now put me in 2nd overall. During our third and final lap in this one-hour European Scrambles, one of the guys passed me back so I ended up 3rd Overall and 1st Place Expert. I was very happy with that finish. It was a fun race and a great course!" stated Patty.
